Welcome to the website of Imani Agape Children’s Home.

Our mission is to support and care for orphans in Kenya.  HIV/AIDS has caused a lot of suffering in Africa, and is responsible for the deaths of many parents, leaving their children orphaned.  The numbers are increasing rapidly, and these children are in need of care and support.

Founded in 2005, Imani Agape Children’s Home extends a hand to these AIDS orphans, HIV positive and also HIV negative orphans.  We want to find a way to help the many African people and children affected by HIV/AIDS and give them the opportunity to build a new future.  We also aim to educate the youth and our community about HIV/AIDS and equip them with more knowledge about this disease, how it can be prevented, and how to deal with it.

Imani Agape receives no government support, and without the goodwill of our friends this home for Kenya’s orphans would have remained a dream.  The children attend a local government school except for the smaller ones who receives schooling at the orphanage.  We welcome friends and visitors from all corners of the world to come and spend time with us, donate food, gifts, toys, clothes and other necessities, and also to adopt a child.
